About Mozart Evenings 2022

In July 2022, the European Foundation for Support of Culture, in collaboration with ArtEnsemble, is proud to present a lavish celebration of one of the greatest and most beloved composers of all time – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Taking place between the 26th and 30th of July in the historic Italian city of Chieti, Mozart Evenings in Chieti will present four spectacular concerts held in some of the city’s most picturesque venues, all of which will be dedicated solely to the music of Mozart. Headlined by a number of celebrated soloists coming to Italy from all over the world, these concerts shall also be featuring the talents of the Kyiv Virtuosi Orchestra, who will be taking to the stage under the baton of a number of renowned conductors, including the Grammy-nominated conductor and cellist Dmitry Yablonsky, acclaimed Maltese conductor Alan Chircop, and the award-winning Danish Maestro Lavard Skou Larsen. Furthermore, the most accomplished young musicians participating in the masterclasses at the 5th edition of the Chieti Classica International Music Festival, which will be taking place alongside this event, shall also be invited to participate in the concerts, performing live alongside the professional musicians.
