Vicente Alberola, Clarinet (Spain)

Throughout the past decade, Vicent Alberola has served as guest principal clarinet with renowned orchestras, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, and Mahler Chamber Orchestra, performing under the direction of esteemed conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Mariss Jansons, Riccardo Muti, Daniele Gatti, Daniel Harding, Andris Nelsons, Gustavo Dudamel, Alan Gilbert, and Nicola Luisotti.

In addition to his work as a clarinetist, Alberola has conducted the Mahler Chamber Orchestra on multiple occasions at prestigious festivals, including the Beijing Music Festival and Hamburg International Music Festival.

His conducting career began with his appointment in 2003 as Music Director of the Youth Orchestra of the Madrid Opera (Joven Orquesta de la Ópera de Madrid). In 2007, he became Music Director of the Soria Youth Orchestra (Joven Orquesta de Soria) and later held the position of Principal Conductor of the Orquesta 430 de Vigo.

Alberola has also conducted leading Spanish orchestras, including the Oviedo Filarmonía, Castilla y León Symphony Orchestra, Madrid Symphony Orchestra, Real Filharmonía de Santiago, Orquestra del Vallès, Valencia Symphony Orchestra, and several prominent youth orchestras, such as the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), the Canary Islands Youth Orchestra, and the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Galicia.
Recently, he has been invited to conduct internationally, including engagements with the National Symphony Orchestra of Colombia and MMCJ Tokyo.

As a dedicated chamber musician, Alberola regularly performs at prestigious festivals, including the Beethoven Festival, Alella Festival, and the Rachmaninoff Conservatory in Paris.
