Full details for the Mozart Evenings 2025 venue have been officially announced! The musical affair will return for its second iteration in May 2025 in Chieti's Teatro Marrucino, paying homage to the timeless music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
Breathing new life into the long-standing legacy of Settimana Mozartiana, President Konstantin Ishkhanov's Mozart Evenings, led by Artistic Director Giuliano Mazzoccante, is all set to combine the classic appeal of Mozart’s music with visionary programming and spectacular performances this summer.
Mozart Evenings will be held at the breathtaking Teatro Marrucino, one of the oldest and most prominent theatres in Abruzzo. Regarded as the heart of Chieti's cultural life, Teatro Marrucino was inaugurated way back in 1818 and has been recognised as a hub of tradition since 2003. Constructed by artist and engineer Eugenio Michitelli, Teatro Marrucino has earned a distinguished place in the region's cultural calendar, becoming a reference point for events, shows and Italian theatre. It has hosted renowned figures in music and theatre, such as Maxim Vengerov, Carmelo Bene, Anna Moffo, Riccardo Muti, and Vittorio Gassman, among many others.
