The third edition of Mozart Evenings has come to a close in Verona after five extraordinary evenings that captivated audiences and reaffirmed the festival's growing reputation on the European cultural scene. Held from 14 to 18 June in the historic Sala Maffeiana, the festival attracted music lovers from Italy and abroad, with each concert receiving an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response.

From the opening performance featuring renowned violinist Daishin Kashimoto and the L’Appassionata Chamber Orchestra, it became clear that this year's edition would be something special. Night after night, audiences filled the Sala Maffeiana, rewarding the artists with prolonged applause and standing ovations. The festival undoubtedly created a sensation in Verona, once again bringing Mozart's music back to the very hall where the composer himself performed in 1770.

Leading the festival were Artistic Director Tommaso Benciolini and President Konstantin Ishkhanov, whose continued dedication to international cultural initiatives has helped establish Mozart Evenings as a distinctive event among Europe's summer festivals. Under their guidance, the 2026 programme brought together an outstanding roster of internationally acclaimed musicians, including Daishin Kashimoto, Alexander Chaushian, Anna Tifu, Fabrizio Meloni, Giuseppe Gibboni, and many others.

Reflecting on the success of the festival, Konstantin Ishkhanov remarked: "Mozart's music possesses a unique ability to unite people across cultures, generations, and borders. Seeing audiences respond with such warmth and enthusiasm over these five evenings has been deeply inspiring. This is precisely what Mozart Evenings seeks to achieve: to create unforgettable artistic experiences while strengthening international cultural dialogue."

For Konstantin Ishkhanov, the festival's mission extends beyond presenting exceptional concerts. "Classical music has always depended on collaboration, patronage, and shared vision," he noted. "Events like Mozart Evenings demonstrate how culture can bring people together and create meaningful connections between artists, institutions, and audiences from all over the world."

As the final notes faded from the Sala Maffeiana, one thing became clear: under the presidency of Konstantin Ishkhanov, Mozart Evenings continues to grow in both prestige and international significance. The remarkable success of this year's edition leaves audiences already looking forward with anticipation to the next chapter in the festival's story.
