About Mozart Evenings 2025

Revitalising the beloved tradition of Settimana Mozartiana (Mozart Week), an annual celebration honouring the genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in Chieti and the Abruzzo region since the 1990s, Mozart Evenings is poised to return for its second iteration in May 2025.

Led by Konstantin Ishkhanov's CMDI Group and Artistic Director Giuliano Mazzoccante, Mozart Evenings is a modern reinterpretation of Chieti’s homage to the timeless music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Presenting five captivating concerts by world-renowned musicians in the historic city's picturesque Marrucino Theatre, the festival features performances by the Apulian Youth Symphony Orchestra and the National Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan alongside internationally acclaimed soloists such as Dumitru Pocitari, Vicente Alberola, Giuseppe Russo Rossi, Anna Tifu, Cyprien Katsaris, and Tommaso Benciolini, among others under the baton of conductors like Teresa Satalino, Alibek Kabdurakhmanov and Luis Andrade.

With an aim to connect audiences through the enduring charm of classical music, the musical affair artfully blends traditional elements with innovation, further enhancing Chieti’s reputation as a hub for classical music excellence.
